Friday: Veterans For Peace Offer Patriot Day Greetings

As the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks draws near, members of the Greater Seattle Chapter of Veterans For Peace will be in downtown Seattle on Friday, September 9, 2011 from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM (or until we run out of cards) for our second annual Patriot Day action.  As we did last year, we will be distributing postcards with some alternative views on patriotism, war, and civil liberties (click here to see a PDF file of the cards). Please join us if you are able at 3rd & Union near the main downtown post office.

Update: Five members of VFP 92 came out and distributed more than 700 Patriot Day postcards on September 9.
